02,Dec,2011-(Berberanews)-The Office for Development and Humanitarian Affairs (ODHA), in partnership with West London Somaliland Community (WLSC) is organising the first ever UK Somaliland Youth Conference on this Friday the 2nd December 2011 at Ealing Town Hall, New Broadway, Ealing, W5 2BY.
This conference aims to address numerous issues faced by young British Somalilanders such as under achievement, crime, self esteem, inter-generational gap, identity and lack of opportunities. It aims to bring policy makers and the young people together to set the first step towards a coherent solution to these challenges.
This one day conference will offer a platform for young people to express their view on finding a solution for their challenges. Together with young people and policy makers, we will explore what is working to address identified needs and build on what is already available. The conference will start at 10am and ends at 4.30pm
We, ODHA and WLSC, are therefore very pleased to invite you to this conference to have your input in this very important matter.
