North Korea-19-Dec-2011-(Berberanews)-The leader of North Korea, one of the most isolated and globe’s largest standing armies including nuclear weapons passed away from a great mental and physical strain” at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, while travelling by train on one of his field tours. An autopsy performed on Sunday relieved that the leader died of a severe myocardial infarction along with a heart attack.
Kim Jong-Il was born on Feb. 16, 1942, at a secret camp for rebel fighters led by his father near Korea’s famed Mount Paektu. Some say he was born in Soviet Union.
Kim, Known at home as “the Dear Leader”, took over North Korea in 1994 when his father and founder of the reclusive state Kim Il-sung, known as “the Great Leader”, died. He had been portrayed as a criminal mastermind behind deadly bombings by the administration of former U.S. President George W. Bush as the ruler of “an outpost of tyranny”.
North Korea possessed a threat for the rest of the world because of its significant progress in the development of nuclear weapons. For its neighbours South Korea and China, Mr. Kim’s death brings an additional risk
In 2009, Mr. Kim had chosen his young and inexperienced son 28 year old Kim Jong Eun to be his successor and extend the family’s dynasty rule of North Korea for the third generation.
