Ukraine-(Berberanews)-Ukraine and Russia have agreed to meet near the Belarussian border, with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba declaring that his country will “not give up a single inch of… territory.”
The talks, which would be the first since Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine last week, will take place without preconditions and are the result of a phone conversation between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his Belarusian counterpart, according to the Ukrainian leader.
“We agreed that the Ukrainian delegation would meet with the Russian delegation without preconditions on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, near the Pripyat River,” he said in a statement
In a televised statement on Sunday, Ukraine’s foreign minister stated that his country will “not give up a single inch of… land” after agreeing to talks with Moscow.
