(MENAFN- SomTribune)-His excellency the President of the Republic of Somaliland, Musa Bihi Abdi, condoles the government and people of the United Kingdom on the loss of their long-reigning royal head, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Somaliland, I send my condolences to the Royal Family and the people of the United Kingdom on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II,” President Bihi said in a statement he posted on Twitter Thursday.
“Her dedication to public service and unwavering leadership will inspire many generations to come,” the president added.
Queen Elizabeth II, 96, according to an official statement from Buckingham Palace, Thursday, passed away ‘peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon’.
